Huron-Perth Public Health has partnered up with the Avon Maitland District School Board to offer naloxone kits in secondary schools.
The partnership with public health’s sexual health and harm reduction team will allow naloxone available at the schools which can reverse the effects of an opiod overdose and give time for medical help to arrive.
Naloxone has been a tool made available across the community with a full map on where kits can be picked up from the Ontario website.
