Canadians are not heading the polls this spring as a vote of no confidence against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau failed to get enough votes.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has called out Trudeau multiple times who has refused to call off a planned April increase in the carbon tax.

The price will go up by $15 a tonne next month as scheduled adding another 3.3 cents to the price of a litre of gasoline and 2.86 cents for a cubic metre of natural gas.

The no confidence vote in the House of Commons was 204-116.
