November is Woman Abuse Awareness Month.
Communities across Ontario will be joining with Women’s House serving Bruce & Grey Counties to raise the flag to end gender based violence.
For the 9th year the Wrapped in Courage campaign is mobilizing Violence against Women shelters across the Province to remind everyone that now more than ever violence continues to be the greatest gender inequity issue for women and girls.
Residents are asked to wear purple scarves next month to show support for survivors of gender based violence in their homes, communities and workplaces.
