Women’s House serving Bruce and Grey are getting a donation from the Nuclear Waste Management Organization.
The NWMO announced on Friday a $10,000 donation to the shelter that will be used to support the most vulnerable women and families in the community.
Representatives of the NWMO (Office Support – Engagement, Morgan Murray, and Regional Communications Manager, Jonathan Zettel) were on hand to present a cheque to Mary Smith, Property Manager at Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey (left in photo).
Women’s House also announced that they are constructing a new backyard space at its Kincardine shelter that will include garden planters, a playground, and an off-leash, fenced-in dog area.
