A week after warning of a possible illegal car rally in Goderich, police and town officials say they’re still prepared for activity this weekend.
They warned of a potential rally last Wednesday after an unauthorized rally in Wasaga Beach last month resulted in several people being charged with mischief, dangerous and impaired driving, disturbing the peace, break and entering and more.
The town already installed speed bumps around courthouse square to deter activity and acting mayor Myles Murdock says they’re prepared for whatever this weekend holds.

Road closures are possible should the rally take place.
