One in Custody Following Sauble Falls Shelter in Place

One person is in custody after a shelter in place was put in effect in Sauble Falls.

On March 21st at around 5:30pm, Grey Bruce OPP responded to a reported disturbance at a property on Rankin Bridge Road with a potentially armed individual.

Police issued the shelter in place and after investigation it was determined the situation was stabilized and there was no threat to public safety.

The shelter in place was lifted at 11:40pm.

The suspect later turned themselves in and arrested without incident. Investigation remains ongoing.
