One Person Charged, Stolen Combine Still Outstanding

With one person charged, police are still looking for stolen farm equipment from Southgate.

On February 10th Grey-Bruce OPP responded to a report of stolen farm equipment where it was determined sometime between February 7th-10th unknown individuals entered the property and stole a large Case IH combine header.

The victim called police again later in the day being told someone had contacted them over social media saying they saw the stolen combine near Shelburne on February 10th pulled over by police.

On February 11th police responded to a suspicious person call involving the suspect and as a result a 40 year old from Melancthon was charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000, Operating a vehicle without insurance and failing to apply for permit on becoming an owner.

The combine is still outstanding.
