The Ontario Health Coalition is holding a series of public hearings across the province to develop recommendations for the future of hospitals.
This comes after more than 1200 closures of emergency departments for local hospital services within the last year.
Local hearings will be held on June 18th starting in the morning from 10:30am-12:30pm at the Chesley Community Centre Community Hall.
Another will be held at the Wescast Community Complex in Wingham from 2-3pm.
The results of the hearings will be collected for a report on how to protect and improve local hospitals and especially in small and rural areas.
