A Huron-Kinloss man wanted on outstanding charges has been apprehended by police.
A South Bruce OPP officer was on foot patrol in Chesley early Wednesday morning around 5 when the officer noticed someone running into an alleyway off 4th Street South.
A brief chase ensued before the individual was caught and arrested without further incident.
An investigation into the individual revealed that the suspect was wanted on a number of charges including break and enter, theft, mischief, illegal possession of firearms, and numerous driving-related offenses.
The 35-year-old is being held pending a bail hearing scheduled for Thursday.
