South Bruce OPP is reminding the public to register their cameras for the CAMSafe Program.
The voluntary program is aimed to create a database of residential and commercial security cameras which can assist police with investigations.
Officers cannot access your cameras without permission but allows them to map the local area.
CAMSafe has been adopted by police forces across multiple local regions and has played a factor in arrests made.
Those interested need only to provide basic contact info and camera location but can also provide more details if desired such as direction the camera faces, footage details.
