Huron County OPP was called to the scene of a workplace injury Sunday morning that had taken place just east of Wingham.
At approximately 10:44 am officers and Huron County Paramedics responded to Howick-Turnberry Road between Bok Line and Gilmour Line to assist a hydro worker that sustained injuries from an apparent electrocution.
The worker was sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Ministry of Labour was notified and will be attending the scene to assist with the Investigation.
Huron County OPP has temporarily closed Howick-Turnberry Road between Bok Line and Gilmour Line.
It is expected to be closed for at least another couple hours for the investigation.
