A manhunt is underway after police were called about an assault at a Zurich home.
Huron County OPP went to a residence on Main Street yesterday morning around 8.
Investigators say the assailant fled the scene before officers arrived.
An unidentified victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit were brought in to assist.
They say residents can expect to see an increase police presence and are asking anyone to contact them if they see any suspicious activity.
