A traffic stop near Wingham has led to charges in connection to a break-in at a storage facility in Exeter.

Huron County OPP stopped a vehicle in Morris-Turnberry on January 5th and later determined that the two occupants were involved in a break-in and theft the day before  where several items were taken.

One of the items was a dirt bike that was being hauled on a trailer attached to the vehicle.

A search turned up suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl, plus a knife and another prohibited weapon.

The two 36-year-olds from Wingham were arrested and charged, and later released with court dates in February.

A third suspect, a 21-year-old, was arrested and charged in Clinton on January 11th and was held for a court appearance later today (THU).

Investigators are looking for a fourth suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
