The South Bruce OPP issued a reminder to residents today that criminal record checks are now done online.
They say that they have received concerns about the results when searching “record checks” through an online browser.
They say to only visit opp.ca and entering record checks in the search field. Checks that can be done online include criminal record, with judicial matters, vulnerable sectors and non-parent custody check.
They say payment is collected electronically with the charge $41 for records, $90 for fingerprints but no charge for volunteer checks.
