With warmer weather upon us the OPP are spreading the word of boat and safety while on the water.
Sergeant Dave Moffatt reminds boaters to be ready for the season, including the required equipment you need to have on-board when you get out on the water.
The OPP is providing a Safe Boating Guide that enthusiasts can download.
They say with it being early in the season the water will be cold and hypothermic.
Police add that wearing a PFD will give you that extra chance at survival.
