The Huron County OPP is advising Goderich residents near the hospital not to be alarmed by emergency response vehicles or personnel near the Alexandra Marine Hospital this morning.
The exercise sees members of the Tactics & Rescue, Emergency Response Team, as well as Crisis Negotiators working with AMGH staff in the training of various scenarios including hostage rescue, and violent armed persons.
OPP Inspector Jason Younan says by leveraging a collaborative police-hospital partnership, community safety, and well-being is promoted through emergency preparedness.
