The Township of Huron-Kinloss’ Women in Construction Program set to start on Monday, May 29th has 2 spots remaining for applicants.
The course offers 3 stages of learning including 4 weeks of foundational skills, 10 weeks of trade related training and a 8 to 12 week work placement.
On top of that participants will also receive work boots, a tool belt and a basic tool kit.
There are no pre-requisits to participate and fundign may be avialalbe to reduce barrier such as daycare and transportation costs.
