It’s harvest season and across Bruce and Grey Counties, there is an increased amount of farm machinery and slow moving vehicles.
Grey Bruce OPP are reminding residents that with this increase of heavy and slow moving vehicles this can cause more danger for drivers when it comes to passing farmers.
These vehicles are large, slow and can at times take up more than one lane with drivers urged caution, reduce speed and only pass when its safe and legal to do so.
Farmers are also reminded to make sure their equipment is marked with a Slow Moving Vehicle sign and use lights and signals when traveling on public roadways.
