Grey Bruce OPP is warning the public of fraudulent websites offering services in the area.
On August 26th, Grey Bruce OPP was alerted to a website selling fraudulent tickets to a Tobermory area ferry with the site appearing to be very similar to that of the legitimate source for ticket sales.
The real site has since posted an alert banner on their website.
OPP say when dealing with any online purchase, exercise a moderate level of caution as scammers will use websites, advertisements, emails and texts which all appear legitimate.
