South Bruce OPP have wrapped up their part of the annual Canada Road Safety Week which ran from May 14-20th over the long weekend.
The campaign put a heavy focus to reduce accidents caused by distracted driving, impaired driving, aggressive driving and not wearing a seat belt.
Over the 7 day campaign South Bruce OPP laid 55 speeding charges, 5 impaired charges and 3 seat belt infractions.
Officers will continue to put a focus on “The Big Four” factors of serious and fatal crashes this summer.
