Now four weeks into the Festive RIDE Campaign, West Region OPP officers have been busy removing impaired drivers off the roads.
Since the start of the campaign a month ago, OPP have done 2076 RIDE checks across all 13 detachments in the West Region.
Over that time span 184 impaired driving charges have been laid with 27 warn range suspensions given.
From a provincial standpoint, 832 impaired charges have been laid while 92 warn range suspensions were issued over 7298 ride checks on OPP patrolled roads.
