The 2nd annual Candlelight Memorial Walk with the Huron Hospice saw a great turnout and overall success held on April 1st.
The walk, which took place at the Taylor Trail in Varna was organized by volunteers who lit hundreds candles on the trail and put together the list of 100 names read during the dedication ceremony.
With the donations made to light candles from individuals and a total of 51 Huron County businesses making donations, over $25,000 was raised to support the Hospice.
Family members who were unable to attend are encouraged to view the memorial walk over on the Bayfield River Valley Trail Association YouTube channel.
