Over $3 million is being invested across Huron-Bruce for Primary Care across the area.

As part of the $2.1 billion Primary Care Action Plan to connect everyone in Ontario to a publicly funded family doctor or primary care team.

The funding include the Kincardine Family Health Team investing $1,009,500, the Brockton and Area Family Health Team getting $1,143,200 and the Grand Bend Area Community Health Centre receiving $858,000.

MPP for Huron-Bruce Lisa Thompson says these care teams receiving funding will help strengthen local health care by ensuring more residents have timely access to the care they need close to home.
