Grey Bruce Public Health is issuing an overdose alert following three suspected drug poisonings in Owen Sound.
The overdoses took place between July 5th-7th with two of the cases fentanyl to be the substance used. In all three overdoses the individuals were responsive to naloxone.
Public Health continues to urge the importance of carrying a naloxone kit which can be found at pharmacies and participating community partners.
Users are also reminded of the Good Samaritan Act which provides legal protection for people who call emergency services during an overdose.
