Grey Bruce Public Health is turning to the public to locate the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident on Sunday in Priceville.
At around 6pm a man working on his car on Artemesia Street was bitten by a medium sized, long haired black dog who was running at large at the time of the incident.
Public health is trying to confirm the dog is up to date with its rabies vaccination.
By verifying the dogs status, the victim can avoid receiving post exposure rabies treatment.
Those with information are asked to reach out to public health.
