Mountains of pet food was donated over the weekend as part of Saugeen Shores Police’s 3rd annual Pet Food Drive.
Volunteers were set up at Giant Tiger, Food Basics and Walmart in town collecting all varieties of pet food to donate back to local food banks.
The donations of pet food will continue to allow families in financial hardship to keep their pets fed, reduce shelter overcrowding as well as support mental and emotional health.
Saugeen Shores Police have sent their thanks to everyone who showed their support and the volunteers who made the pet food drive a success.
