Peterborough driver faces Impaired Charges after Colliding with Hydro Pole in Kincardine Sept. 2nd

The 27-year-old male faces a driver's license suspension of 90 days and a vehicle impoundment of a week.

South Bruce OPP have charged a Peterborough County driver after they collided with a hydro pole on Saturday, September 2nd in Kincardine.

Officers, Kincardine Fire & Emergency Services and Bruce County EMS responded to the scene of the single vehicle collision at 5:42 pm.

The driver was found to have been drinking alcohol and they were placed under arrest and taken into the detachment for further breath testing.

The 27-year-old male is facing charges of impaired operation and operation with a blood alcohol level above 80 milligrams. The accused is set to appear in a Walkerton court on October 25th to answer to the charges.

Their drivers license has been suspended for 90 days and their vehicle impounded for a week.
