There’s a planned power outage coming to Goderich and Clinton this Sunday.
The temporary outage is scheduled for ERTH Power customers in the area starting at 5:15am to 1:15pm.
The outage is needed as Hydro One makes critical upgrades to increase capacity on a section of transmission lines between Goderich and Seaforth.
This upgrade is expected to boost reliability and redundancy in the region with hopes to reduce unplanned outages.
During this outage, crews will also replace insulators on several transmission towers in the area.
