The Four County Labour Market Planning Board is seeing its lowest unemployment of the year.
The unemployment rate in the Stratford-to-Bruce-Peninsula economic region was at 3 percent for the month of October.
That is a drop of 0.6 percent from the previous month.
It is also the lowest unemployment in the any of the economic regions in Ontario.
Most of the job gains were in construction while accommodation and food services saw the biggest losses.
The board says the workforce also shrunk by over a thousand in September and October.
The Provincial unemployment rate also went down to 7.4 percent.
