The Pine River Watershed Initiative Network says they’re excited to see the creation of a pollinator garden with the Ripley and District Horticultural Society.
The garden at the McLarty Education Centre has seen the AG society develop 11 community pollinator gardens within the community.
The garden is currently covered and protected for the winter with pollinator plants being selected and planted this spring.
The Pine River Watershed Initiative Network adds they are grateful to members Christine and Jim Roberts for this upcoming initiative which will provide habitat and food sources for pollinators.
