Port Elgin Woman Faces Multiple Charges

Saugeen Shores Police kept busy over the weekend after a report of an unwanted person in Port Elgin.

Police were called just after 6pm on Saturday and during investigation it was determined both parties knew each other and while attempting to arrest the suspect a struggle ensued.

Police also found methamphetamine and a stun gun during a search of the woman.

While in police custody she also spat at police.

As a result the 35 year old woman of Port Elgin faces multiple charges including resisting a peace officer, carrying a concealed weapon, assaulting a peace officer and possession of methamphetamine.
