Presentation on Hiring & Retaining International Wokers & Students being held in Blyth Oct. 24th

The event at Blyth Memorial Hall from 5 to 7pm will focus on the legal processes that employers need to take to support temporary foreign workers and international students to become permanent residents.

The Huron County Immigration Partnership, Huron County Chamber, Community Futures Huron, WILL Employment and Huron County Economic Development are set to host local employers interested in hiring and retaining internally trained & educated workers.

The event at the Blyth Memorial Hall on Tuesday, October 24th from 5 to 7pm will focus on the legal processes that employers need to take to support temporary foreign workers and international students to become permanent residents.

It will also allow attendees to ask questions of immigration experts and features speakers lawyer Jennifer Roggeman and Gemma Mendez-Smith, an immigration consultant.

The event is funded with support of the Federal Government and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
