The Province, through Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson, announced this afternoon an additional investment in the campaign to bring a CT Scanner to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre Kincardine Site.

MPP Thompson made the announcement in Kincardine saying that in addition to the previously committed $1.4 million dollars an additional one-time over $1.3 million dollars. This brings the total investment to $2.7 million dollars.

“This means so much to the community, and neighbouring business communities as well and it shows that we recognize the leadership and value of the amazing medical teams we have in Kincardine  that we need to grow in this community as well.”

The Fundraising Committee announced as well at the event that the funding commitment means that the shovels will be in the ground shortly in the expansion of the facility in advance of the arrival of the CT Scanner.
