Province Investing in Emergency Care in Bruce and Huron County

The province is dishing out funding for Bruce and Huron County to connect more people to emergency care faster and increase availability of paramedics and ambulances in the community.

$8,501,286 is being invested for Bruce County while $8,422,813 was given for Huron County through the Land Ambulance Service Grant.

This increase in base funding helps ensure municipalities address increased costs so they can continue to deliver high quality emergency care.

MPP Lisa Thompson says this investment will help support dedicated paramedics and ambulance services while reducing delays and ensuring more ambulances are available to respond to 911 calls.
