The provincial government is dishing out $171,926 in funding to support Indigenous Energy Projects in Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound.
The funding will support Making First Nation Energy Data Accessible and Creating Indigenous Energy Auditors in Neyaashiinigmiing for the 2025 intake of the Indigenous Energy Support Program with applications opening for 2026.
MPP for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound Paul Vickers says this investment will help empower community members, and ensure Indigenous voices are heard in shaping the energy systems that affect their communities and Ontario as a whole.
