The Public Consultation meeting in regards to the revitalization of Port Elgin’s North Shore Park is this Thursday, July 7th.

Town staff will be hosting it to determine which amenities should be in place in the park such as open spaces, playground, pavilion, washrooms, miniature trail, North Shore trail, harbour entrance and more.

The Community Consultation will take place at the North Shore Pavillion on Thursday from 5 until 7 pm.

Town staff will then gather resident input and present it to Council. Chief Administrative Officer Kara Van Myall says the meeting gives the public a chance to provide input into what the park looks like and how it can best serve residents and visitors.
