A public engagement process has begun on the Secord Monuments in Kincardine.

Some concerns have been raised regarding one of these monuments due to the reference to Secord’s service to the Confederate Army during the American Civil War.

The monuments were put up by patients and friends of Dr. Soloman Secord in his honour.

To figure out next steps the public is being asked to share their thoughts with an online survey available and a paper copy available at the municipal administration centre.

The survey is available here.
