Grey Bruce Public Health has issued an overdose alert following 3 suspected opioid related overdoses which included one death.
The overdoses occurred in West Grey, Saugeen Shores and Owen Sound between August 13th-18th with the suspected substance being fentanyl in the death.
In the non fatal the substances were believed to be fentanyl and meth.
Public health continue to urge those who use drugs to have naloxone on hand and a sober friend with them who can administer naloxone and call 911 in the event of an overdose.
