A public meeting will be taking place on May 1st in Walkerton to discuss the Durham Street Bridge.
Taking place at the Walkerton District Knights of Columbus Hall at 7pm the meeting is organized by the county to update residents on the status of the project.
Recent evaluations of the bridge had the county look into reinforcement and rehabilitation of the crossing to address issues instead of replacing it.
Work is expected to be completed in 2024-25 with lane restrictions during the work.
Residents will be learning about the proposed bridge work such as construction details, timing and traffic restrictions.
Public input is being accepted until May 19th.
