Quality of Life Report Shows Discrimination Rates are High

As per United Ways Quality of Life Report, its stated the region has experienced the most frequent rates of discrimination, mainly seen at the workplace.

The report notes across all of Southwestern Ontario the rate of discrimination was the highest for most frequent.

The report says Indigenous peoples are the most likely to experience discrimination across Perth and Huron counties.

In the three years before the 2021 survey, 81 per cent of Indigenous people, 68 per cent of immigrants and visible minorities with 49 per cent of white people who are not immigrants have reported discrimination.
