Registration open for attending the Afro Caribbean Culture Awards in Kincardine Oct. 21st

The ceremony at the Davidson Centre will recognize Afro Caribbean youth between the ages of 5 and 25 years.

On Saturday, October 21st the Municipality of Kincardine will be recognizing and celebrating Afro Caribbean youth living in Grey and Bruce Counties.

The ceremony at the Davidson Centre will feature internationally recognized poet Dwayne Morgan.

Registration is now open to attend the event.

To nominate an Afro Caribbean youth between the ages of 5 and 25 years of age you can do so online at the Municipality website or by requesting a paper copy of the form.

Nominations close September 22nd.

Andrea Clark, Kincardine Deputy Mayor says she is grateful to have so many community partners join them to sponsor and help plan for the awards adding it has been truly a group effort that they hope comes an annual event.
