Canadians everywhere are remembering Vimy Ridge Day.
On the morning of April 9th, 1917 soldiers from all four Canadian Corp divisions stormed the ridge in France eventually capturing it over the Germans on April 12th.
A defining moment for Canada but at the cost of 3600 Canadian lives with over 7000 wounded.
