Repeat Shoplifters strike in Incident in Wingham Friday

During the investigation, it was revealed that the two entered the business separately and proceeded to load baby food, shaving accessories, and other items totaling around $2,000 before departing without paying.

The Huron County OPP are investing shoplifting in Wingham last Friday that is linked to other similar thefts in Ontario with the same suspects.

On September 8th at around 5pm police were dispatched to a business on Josephine Street for a report of shoplifting that occurred just after 2pm the same day.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the two male suspects entered the business separately and proceeded to load baby food, shaving accessories, and other items totaling around $2,000 before departing without paying.

Both were captured on video surveillance.

They departed in an older Mercedes automobile, beige, or light grey.

It is believed the two are suspects of stealing goods from retailers in Barrie, Meaford, Saugeen Shores, Bracebridge, Walkerton and Wingham.
