The Township of Huron-Kinloss shared an advisory that the Ripley & District Hamper Program is once assisting those in the community that need some extra help this Christmas.

The Committee welcomes donation of cash or gift cards towards the program.

Cheques can be made out to Ripley and District Lions. E-transfers may be sent to ripleylionshampers@gmail.com.
For questions about donations or the Hamper program, please contact John at (519) 955-9884.

Each individual or family will receive a gift card for groceries, clothing, and a toy for children under the age of 18 who reside in the family home.

If you need a hamper or would like to refer someone to the program you can call Elaine (519) 395-0239, or LouAnne (519) 385-5823.

The Committee asks that you seek permission from the individual or family prior to making a referral.

Referrals need to be received by November 24th and delivery date for gifts will be November 29th.

The Ripley & District Christmas Hamper Program is funded by generous donations of individuals, service groups, churches, and businesses in the community.

The Township thanked everyone for making this a happier Christmas for individuals and families in the community.
