The Municipality of Grey Highlands has temporarily closed the Rocklyn Arena.
This comes after findings of an independent environmental assessment including mould and indoor air quality testing.
The assessment found conditions in the facility which requires further investigation and remediation before the building can be occupied again safely.
Affected renters and user groups have been contacted with staff assisting with alternative arrangements to help ensure planned events and activities can go forward with minimal disruption.
The Municipality is actively working with remediation specialists to identify the most appropriate path forward and develop practical solutions to address the issues identified in the assessment.
