The Rural Housing Information System has launched in Western Ontario.
An effort done in part by the Rural Ontario Institute, the Western Ontario Wardens Caucus and South Central Ontario Region Economic Development Corporation which is now up and running across rural Western Ontario municipalities.
The system looks into demographic trends, pricing insights, incentives and available land for development.
RHIS was first developed with the Eastern Ontario Wardens Caucus and has now expanded to help tackle the housing crisis across Western Ontario and Ontario’s South Central Region.
