The Town of Saugeen Shores has advocated for local priorities at this years ROMA conference.
Saugeen Shores Mayor Luke Charbonneau, councilor Dave Myette, CAO Kara Van Myall and Manager of Strategic Initiatives Jill Roote presented briefs to three provincial ministries over the conference from January 19th-21st.
Some highlights for Saugeen Shores included speaking on the new Aquatic and Wellness Centre, reiterating the need for expanded primary care services and addressing the reduction in Ontario Community Infrastructure Funding and its resulting impact.
