Saugeen Shores council has approved the town’s 2025 Business Plan and Budget.
The budget proposes an increase to the tax levy to 4.1 per cent or $19.33 per month.
Among the big themes for the 2025 Plan include introducing the first ever 10 year operating plan and enable council to not only respond to growth but shape it to the benefit of the community, continue to build Saugeen Shores as an attractive place to live. Prioritize several environmental initiatives such as looking into residential organic food waste collection and to support staff growth.
