The Town of Saugeen Shores advises that as the effects of climate change become clear both locally and around the globe the public is invited to learn about the role of their personal carbon footprints and how they can influence positive change.

The Town’s Environmental Sustainability Ad Hoc Committee, in partnership with Project Neutral and with the support of the Nuclear Innovation Institute will be hosting an online event called “Making a Difference One Person at a Time; Measuring Your Carbon Footprint” next Wednesday, January 19th from 7 until 8pm.

The event will feature a diverse group of panelists as well as a presentation on climate change and what we can do to lower our carbon footprint.

The public can register for the live virtual event by visiting www.saugeenshores.ca/carbonfootprintevent.
