The Town of Saugeen Shores has endorsed a memorandum of understanding, guiding cooperation with the Municipality of Kincardine and Bruce County for the Bruce C Nuclear Project.
Bruce Power is looking at adding 4800MW of new nuclear generation capacity at its existing site with the potential for long term growth, expanded service demands and major infrastructure needs for the region.
The municipalities intend to sign the MOU ensuring a collaborative and well prepared response.
Mayor Luke Charbonneau says the MOU represents a proactive and collaborative approach to planning for the future.
